Arrival in Gaya: After arriving in Gaya, drive 13 kilometres to Bodh Gaya and check into a hotel. Take a sightseeing tour of this Buddhist religious centre. Gaya - Varanasi : After breakfast, transfer from Bodhgaya to Varanasi and check into the hotel. Take a 10-kilometer break before continuing on to Sarnath. After attaining nirvana, Buddha delivered his first sermon to a small group of followers in Sarnath. Emperor Ashoka built monasteries and stupas here, which were later destroyed by Muslim invaders.
